His basking area sits at 25 degrees Celsius under his heat lamp.

How would we know if he wasn't getting enough air? I mean is there any signs to look out for? He seems comfortable in his surroundings

Hi.the barking dome is a mercury uvb basking lamp and was told this is sufficient.i've moved the lamps up although he only goes near them to bask a little every so often

Thanks...it's our first and as we live in the UK it's warmer to have a glass enclosure as it holds the heat much better....having said that we have a heating lamp for the night time and the coolest part of the tank is around 15 degrees celsius and he sleeps there,even during the day he only goes...
