    Worried About Egg Binding

I honestly don't have scales to weigh her on but thats a good idea! Should I take her to the vets, just in case, or would that disturb her even more?! Also somebody on facebook mentioned putting coconut fibres with the play sand to make it easier for her to dig, but would this disturb her even...

    Worried About Egg Binding

Hello there fellow Chameleon enthusiasts!! I have a female Veiled Chameleon around 10-11 months old, she has just started changing into bright colours and we think she is ready to lay eggs. We set up a laying bin for her but after realising it was WAY too shallow (twice) we changed it and now...

    Sneezing Cham

There is no excess fluid or bubbling around his mouth/nose? We are trying our hardest to prevent the RI at the moment, doing things like taking him out of his viv for extended sessions for air and making sure he is hydrated with clean water. He has recently had treatment for worms too and is due...

    Sneezing Cham

Thank you! He is adorable! I was thinking that exact thing, would you suggest a mesh Viv? I have been saving up for one, and a real plant to go in it like a fig tree. He seems fine for now, I think if he stays looking healthy and eating properly at the moment we will take him to the vets the...

    Sneezing Cham

So my veiled Chameleon always sits at the back of his Viv under his basking bulb, sometimes he will shut his eyes momentarily like they're irritated, he will sit facing upwards with his mouth open and sometimes he sneezes too, like every day. I hear a clicking noise when he breathes aswell. I...

    Lump in chams throat: help!

The other day I noticed a lump in my chameleons throat. Is it anything serious??? It's got bigger and my cham has been pretty ill lately.

    Weird Behavior and colour

Either way, I'm not taking any chances. It's only since I changed the basking bulb to red light that he's started to go that colour when he basks. :(

    Weird Behavior and colour

Yes but it seems like he only goes a dark colour when he sits under his basking bulb, so it may be causing him stress. Hence the dark colours.

    Weird Behavior and colour

We do have a spare white light 60W bulb, I'll try putting that in and see if his colouring changes. In the mean time, is there anything I can do about his eyes? He seems very agitated.

    Weird Behavior and colour

I looked it up, you're right! I don't want to take any chances anyway. This little man means the world to me. I wasn't going to get any more foliage until I get him a bigger viv, it's hard to put more foliage in because it's already quite packed. I was planning on getting real plants too. He...

    Weird Behavior and colour

I only started feeding him spinach after we took him to the vets, I read somewhere that leafy greens were good for him. Could a couple of weeks feeding him spinach leaves make a big impact on his health? Will stop feeding them to him immediately, I feel so guilty. :( Also this is the best...

    Weird Behavior and colour

So my Veiled Chameleon is about 4-5 months old, the pet shop we got him from didn't know how to look after him and I didn't do my research so he got really ill. He started shutting his eyes and stopped moving around his viv during the day and that's when I took him to the vets, the vet couldn't...

ExoTerra Fogger: Is it ok to use?

Hey! So I got an ExoTerra fogger for my Veiled Cham's (glass) viv. After about 10 minutes of using it it ran out of water and stopped working, it also gave me a nasty electric shock when I touched the water (by accident) and I dropped a cricket in it by accident too and the cricket went...

Just want to make sure I'm useing proper calcium supplements

The vet recommended Zolcal-D for our Cham, we feed it to him once every day. ReptiCalcium should be fine, but you should be dusting at least one of his feeders with a calcium supplement every day as long as it has no extras in it. :)

    My Veiled Chameleon, Reggie.

So, about 2-3 months ago my boyfriend and I bought a Veiled Chameleon. We called him Reginald and absolutely love him! He's about 4-5 months old and is so, so adorable. (We don't actually know if he is male yet we just thought Reggie was a cool name). Recently he became very ill, he started...
