I got really lucky with my boy. He is super sweet and I usually take him out about every other day, we sit on the porch for sun in the morning or I put him on my shoulder and he walks with me to the mailbox and back.
So the vet said my chams fecal showed Giardia. He is giving me flagyl for him. As far as cleaning his cage and everything what should I do?? Anyone with experience with this stuff before?
Any help is wonderful :) want to do whatever I can to help my sweet boy.
Another thing he had said was for a chameleon that drinks everyday his eyes aren't as "popped" as they should be. Just slightly though, nothing drastic.
My thought would be maybe that kidney problems would cause lack of appetite? I'm not sure, I should know more soon with the results of the fecal. My poor boy :(
Well...the vet just left, we are looking at two possibilities. One is parasites (he did an enema and was able to get some fecal to test), and another possibility is possible kidney/liver problems :( I have to say I am praying for parasites!! My poor boy...the vet said he still feels some fat...
