After a 5 month diapause in the fridge and 4 weeks of warm up I finally have hoppers hatching. Counted around 60 nymphs. These were caught locally in Upstate New York.

In the wild almost a quarter of a panther chameleons diet are beetles. If you dust them prior to feeding I don’t see why it couldn’t be a staple. I plan to add darkling beetles to the mix of insects I feed.

I did do some cutting and trimming. All sides were sealed with mod podge and painted with nontoxic paint. I then did another layer mod podge and attached coco choir to it.
