    Plants in cage

I have one of the zoo med cages and all I did was took a long piece of wood (2 inch cubed wood) and put in one of those mug hanger hooks. After that I poked the hook through the screen and set the wood on top of the cage and hung the plant with some cord in the cage. It works super well, but my...

In her cage now is a small ficus (is it ok if she eats the leaves? she's been eating them lately) and a tiny schfellera abricola. I also bought a golden...

So, my 11 month old veiled chameleon finally layed her eggs!!!! I have had many laying bins in there for her off and on but she never seemed to use them. This Sunday while the bin was not placed in her cage, I spotted her digging at the bottom so I immedietly threw together a small laying bin...

    Please help!

Ok so my 6-7 month old female veiled stopped eating. I know this is a symptom of her being gravid, but she won't go in her lay bin to lay. She also hangs out at the bottom of the cage to look for a place to lay. I am really worried and there is no possibility for me to take her to the vet. What...

    How is my setup?

Thanks! And I will try to find a different bin. She seems to like it though, I've seen her hanging out in there but I will replace it.

    How is my setup?

Hi guys. I have added a couple more branches to my veiled's enclosure. Let me know how it looks! I will also be adding some live plants very soon. And the orange bucket is her laying bin. Lokee was a bit scared of the camera

    Enclosure Inside an Enclosure

Yeah, you definitely won't want that little guy arriving in hot weather like that. But best of luck with your cage, and I hope that your panther will arrive safely. Keep us updated! Have a good day, Kaia

    Enclosure Inside an Enclosure

I think it will look great. Especially with the live plants in there. You might want to add some branches going horizontally across, though. Are you going to use a misting system? If you are, I recommend the mistking. It's great!

    Ficus care?

I want to purchase a small ficus and golden pothos for my female veiled soon. I saw a couple ficus's at home depot and I made sure they were the 'ficus bejamina' I did see some pothos too. What I am seeking help for is if there is any extra care that I need to do for these plants. I know that I...

    Paranoid? Or reason for concern?

Usually when they are basking they open their mouth to cool their insides. My veiled did this at first too.
