Ok to feed Dubia roaches "cricket crack"?

Thanks everyone. Like most of our setup, I am constantly rethinking and redoing. Just didn't want to waste the food!

Ok to feed Dubia roaches "cricket crack"?

Just got a bag of cricket crack delivered, but I am seriously considering a switch to mainly Dubia roaches. Is it ok to gutload the roaches with it?

    Misting/dripper---really need both?

Do you keep the dripper on all day along with the mistings?

    Misting/dripper---really need both?

I received my little dripper and automatic misting machine on the same day. After purchasing RO water from the grocery store I am ready to set it up. The little dripper looked less daunting so I set it up first. Jack loves it! He seemed to know exactly what to do and has been sitting under it...

    New Chameleon!

Also new here, but from the pic it looks like you've got a hammock type thing for Momo. I know beardies like these, but from what I've read, chams need to be on vines, leaves or branches. The screen material can get caught in their delicate toenails and rip them out. If I am mistaken in my...

    Automatic Misting on a Timer

Oh yeah! Duh! Separate timer would work great. I'm so anxious about the little guy, my brain doesn't seem to be functioning properly. LOL Thanks!

    Automatic Misting on a Timer

Yes, mine can do that (zoo med). I just meant if I put the mister on the timer with the lights, will the mister mist right away at 7am and then 3 hours later (or whatever I set it for)? Or is there a way to set the mister and timer so that when the timer from the plug clicks on the mister will...

    Automatic Misting on a Timer

Since I don't want to mist the enclosure while Jack is sleeping, I bought a power strip with timer capabilities. The lights are on the timer too. My mister has it's own capabilities to set it every 1, 3, 6 or 12 hours. My preference is that the enclosure warms up a bit in the morning before...

    Feeling terrible

Thanks, everyone! Our house temp is set at 72 (my husband is apparently also cold-blooded) and while the room our cham is in is typically cooler, it won't get below 70.

    Feeling terrible

When it was lights on he was in his pjs during the day unless we went in to mist or flush his eye (he came to us with a closed eye). Can't believe I didn't catch on sooner

    Feeling terrible

I thought I had read somewhere that chams needed the heat lamp on at all times. After a few days of this our little guy was acting really out of it. He was probably tired! Turned off all lights last night and he seems a little more active this morning. Even had a brighter color this morning...
