    Hold them first My chameleon has a uncommon personality he likes being held and he is just a little different. You should probably ask what personality they have before buying them, and maybe hold them if they let you. At Petsmart (where i got my veiled) they let me hold him. It matters what...

    My cham will scratch at the door until I hold him (pretty much like yours) and he will hand feed.

    I hope this helps u :D Well I can't tell you alot because my chameleon likes being held (atleast thats what Petsmart said) but I do know they don't like being held ALOT but every now and then you can just make sure they are not in a bad mood they may hiss if they are. I hope that helped you :D.
