I purchaced a jacksons chameleon from a breeder about 2 weeks ago and when I came home today he was on the bottom of his cage, at first I was confused because I thought they like branches but I realised that he wasn't moving and he was stiff, do you have any idea of how he could have died

Is it safe to use ant and bug spray near my jacksons chameleon, because there is a bit of ants and I was wondering if it was safe

He isnt but is that bad
