We currently have males and females available. All are from our huge true blue Nosy Be Panther Chameleon Drogo. Babies are around 4 months old and growing fast. Must have the means to take care of them properly. The first 2 pictures are of the sire. The last 3 pictures are some of the actual...
In no way did I mean rip them out of the cage even if they don't like it, but there are steps that can be taken to tame most chameleons without stressing them out and eventually they will learn that you are not a threat. Of coarse if the steps you take are negatively affecting the well being...
20 babies will roughly go through 1000 crickets a week along with a constant supply of fruit flies. I usually keep 2000 crickets on hand and I feed about 250 every other day. With the fruit flies I usually have 8 producing cultures going and will feed them on the days I don't feed crickets...
It's about a 50/50 with all of mine, 2 Males and half of my Females love to come out and don't make a fuss, but 1 male and the other half of the Females don't want anything to do with it and will fight to stay in the cage. Of coarse you can break that attitude and eventually they will enjoy...
I live in Lakewood and I don't keep mine outside year round. Once it starts dropping below 65 I bring them in for the winter. They may be able to survive but they will barely be able to move since they are cold blooded, they don't hibernate so it's best to keep them warm so they can thrive all...
Ya I would toss it, that is not normal for a fly culture. I don't know the harmful affects of mold being ingested by chameleons but I wouldn't risk feeding off the remaining flies. Just throw i away or take it back if you bought it at a store recently.
Its tough to get chameleons to like things if they don't want to. All my chameleons love superworms, crickets, and waxworms but don't care too much for the roaches. Might have something to do with what they grew up with? I only recently tried roaches and I only got 2 out of 8 chameleons to even...
I actually live relatively close to rainbow mealworms in Compton and I go there once a week. I have never had any problems with any of the insects I get from them, all healthy and alive! As far as the website I don't know since i don't order from there but as far as quality goes, two thumbs up...
Even if you transfer the egg to its new location safely, incubate for 9 months, then get it to hatch, you now have a very fragile baby to take care of. Most breeders won't sell chameleons under 3 months of age because of this fragile and delicate state. Not sure of your expertise with...
That bulge is very normal, no need to worry. What is the temperature inside the room he is in? He may be getting too hot and might not need the basking light until the temperature drops. I would say if the temperature in the area he is at its 75F or above just use the uvb. When days start...
