the closest "GOOD" cham vet is 2 hours away… it was petco lol… all of his BMs have looked healthy, white-ish urates followed by firm brown feces… i think i saw a thread on here about how to do a fecal float
i don't know for sure if he has mbd, but his casque looks like free willy's dorsal fin and the top of it is soft, as is the last half of his tail…
his grip is pretty weak, he slips if theres more than a 45 degree angle of incline..

i have him in a smaller set up with lots of things to climb, he ate on wednesday night and saturday afternoon, each time was a large cricket dusted in a 1:1 mix of rep-cal herptivite and phosphorus free calcium with d3… I've offered him wax worms but i guess he wasn't hungry.. i just ordered...
my rescue has VERY LITTLE muscle in his arms/legs and tail, what's the best thing to feed him to build up the muscle he lost from not being able to move or climb in a 2 gal tank at the petstore (beginning treatment for MBD as well)
he's such a nice sweet boy, i felt so bad every time i saw him in the store (he was there for at least 2 months), he always looked dark and pissed off… and as soon as i got him hydrated and warm he was a little angel.. poor baby

I picked up a veiled that looked pitiful in a 1.5 or 2 gal tank at petco on tuesday.. He was all kinds of nasty dark colors and was cool to the touch.. When i got back to work from my lunch break i gave him a warm bath in the sink while my class was napping and he brightened up pretty quickly...

Heres a quick update before i go to work.. Bennie is improving!! He is using his back legs more an his grip seems to be getting stronger though there may be some long term nerve damage, only time will tell. He is now hunting his dusted crickets instead of waiting for them to get really...
thanks i'm gonna call as soon as i wake up tomorrow.. i feel like such a bad chammommy and pretty stupid for not supplementing properly.. but i guess whats done is done and now i just have to get him the help he needs
i know =[ its just hard since i dont have a car right now and i dont know anyone who would drive that far for him.. poor baby looks miserable.. he's sleeping on the branch i put him on after taking pics of his limbs and he's finally showing his relaxed colors for the first time in about 5 hours
