What type of panther chameleon do we have?

Aww thankyou. I'm in Plymouth, UK, and bought them in stores. We now have babies and honestly, they're sooooo freaking cute!! I totally adore them all but dont have space to keep them. We weren't expecting any to hatch and have ended up with over 30!! Getting the eldest ones ready to move on...

Hi, Can someone help me with identifying what type of panther chameleons I have? There are so many varieties and I'm finding it really confusing to work out from online info!

    Breaking claws

Hi all, Can I have some help with my male panther please? His claws are always broken/chipped. He's nearly 2yrs old. We've had him since 6months old. He's bright, active, eating , drinking, pooping etc all as normal. But his claws are constantly breaking. His feet feet and legs are strong, so...

    Batches from retained sperm

Thank you. Really wish I'd known this before incubating them. I'd rather the little ones not be developed & born than be so weak that they don't survive. Sadly this tiny baby did pass away yesterday afternoon. Gutted that I've incubated the clutch so potentially have another 23 babies who may...

    Batches from retained sperm

Hi all, Since my last post, we have hatched 33 baby panther chameleons. Most are doing well. But... My female laid 3 clutches of eggs from 1 mating. The first batch of 12, 11 shrivelled up anyway, which we were expecting as she was egg bound before we mated her. (Long story, see my 1st thread)...

    Injured tail on a hatchling

Thank you. I'm so relieved he seems to be ok. He/she is in with siblings but I specifically look for him several times a day and watch from a distance to make sure he's eating. Will absolutely continue to look after them as best I can, and have another viv set up ready to go in case of any...

    Injured tail on a hatchling

Thankyou. I will keep a very close eye on it. I thought uggg may stand for something I needed to know or do! 😄 honestly I cried when this happened. Then cried again when my partner got home and I told him about it. Absolutely gutting but just hope he's OK.

    Injured tail on a hatchling

Update this morning guys; babs is still using the foot and tail absolutely fine. Doesn't seem to be in pain or even bothered. Black mark on the foot and the whole tail are very much still there but I think (hope!!) he's gonna be ok.

    Injured tail on a hatchling

Thank you for your reply. I've checked on him/her repeatedly all day. I've seen him use all 4 feet and hold the tail straight out for balance as well as poke it through the mesh to hold him up on the ceiling while hunting. Hes eating and drinking too. He's now asleep and has the end of the tail...

    Injured tail on a hatchling

Hi, I need advice please. I've accidently injured a tiny hatchling and am in bits. Have I broken him/her? Will they be ok? I opened the doors to feed them then closed them up as normal. But I didn't see a tiny baby on the bar and trapped its tail, and possibly foot, in the closed door. Poor...

    Hatched but then died, why?

Yep, I'm leaving him alone. This pic was literally taking him out of the tub this morning and i was soooo careful! I've put some tiny fruit flies in for him and leaving him be. He/she seems to be healthy. Fingers crossed I can keep them that way 😊
