    "Greens"

So, I have had Bug (male veiled Cham) for about six months now. I estimate he was 6-10 weeks old when I bought him. He has never touched a fruit, vegetable, or in between. Should I be worried? I mean I've offered him blueberries, strawberries, banana slices. He just glares at them when I set...

Cist? Burn? Bite? What is this????

I had a feeling it was a burn, the pus bubble looked like some I've had from bad sunburn and furnace incidents. I've rearranged his lamps and uvb to prevent any worse from occurring. I have it about 10 degrees cooler now, he's not happy about that it seems, but he'll live at least. I feel...

Cist? Burn? Bite? What is this????

Came home from work today, and brought Bug (aka .50 caliber) out for a moment while I fiddled with his plants a little (pothos ivy, training the feelers) and spotted two spots on the same side of his spikes/spines/back-ridge. One looks like a blister, or a boil maybe. The other looks a little...

    Odd behavior

So today Bug/50 (veiled chameleon male, I've had him for about 3-4 months now, my guess is he is probably 6 months give or take) did something very out of the ordinary. Per my usual routine I get back from work (about 2pm) and go to check on him, make sure he ate all his crix, then offer to let...

    shipment gone wrong

I'm new to all this but: I would get one of those super small blenders, like they sell for protein shakes, mix super worms crickets and maybe some baby food in for a purée. That way you can add vitamins or calcium dust or whatever else in. Then syringe it.

    New boy, colors.

So just a little bit ago I caught my little buddy sleeping on the screen, and decided "since has fell once because he is not a morning lizard that is probably a horrible spot for him to sleep." So I gently woke him up and repositioned him on his pothos rather than the screening. As I move him...

    He? Is here!

Going by tarsal bumps? They are hard as needles to see right now since he does not like handling just tolerates it till he can start moving to a branch again. I did think the crest was a little prominent for a female even at (I'm guessing slightly, a lot) 8 weeks.

    He? Is here!

Just got the little scaley today, initially I was thinking is female but more I look I thinking male… Opinions? Age estimates are appreciated as well. I'm aware he's starting or finishing a shed so going by tarsal? bumps is difficult. I think might be little dehydrated as well, gave good shower...

    New bulb, what the expletive!?

Now I don't feel so bad about the 65 low. On the flip side I feel stupid for not checking native temps. Thanks nightanole

    New bulb, what the expletive!?

I've read that already, problem is; single basking point is at 84* everywhere else is 65-70.

    New bulb, what the expletive!?

I'm going to look further into this, I don't like the idea of a heat source from the bottom very much, but because of heating issues it might become a necessity.
