ya no meal worms and what you can do is put him a good warm shower for a little put his tree in there and bounce the warm water off the wall so he gets a good mist. I like closing the door and allowing it to get nice and steamy. This helps with him pooping.

yes you can turn off your lights. you usually only give them 12 hours of light so I would turn them on at 0700 to 1900. I like to try and match it to my outside light with a timer.

I think it should be fine as long as the strands don't come out very easy and won't allow him to eat it then I think it will be fine just be sure to wash it down very good. It might be a little harder to keep clean to. It looks good though. Do mind taking a pic of your entire cage?

it sounds like they are just different coloring because of the new cage. He is probably stressed out and there fore showing stressed colors. The level of stress can vary and the colors can vary as well so maybe you haven't really seen him those colors before my veiled use to get dark lines on...

so i know you are able feed your chameleons mantids. But i was wondering what kind should you feed them? aren't there many different types?

actually ookami there are mice that due like to dwell in tree tops and if not dwell they do pass through trees a lot because they can get to different areas but also get food from the tree tops as well.but i wouldn't recommend feeding your chameleon that.
