    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

Here is a pic that shows it better. Also there are vines that run down in the back of the aquarium where it can go if it so desires.

    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

Thank you. That pic is only a small section of the space available to it. If it were to fall in the water there are flowers or driftwood touching all water areas. Not much of the top is open water. Very easy for it to get out of the water if needed. Honestly I don't think there is a much of a...

    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

Well I got stage 4 cancer and got out of my hobbies for a while. I am now cancer free 3 years. Anyway I did get this setup done but a little different than I had first planned but here it is. So far so good. The chameleon does not have anything to do with the fish. The chameleon stays on the...

    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

Geeez I was just kidding:p I will defintly monitor the humidity even before introducing the cham. Because this is not an inclosure, high humidity should not be a problem. The vines above the tank will extend to near the ceiling. Should be 5ft above the tank. I think the only time I will see the...

    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

After a little more research I have decided agaist a water fall backdrop and I think a drip wall would be better. Using only RO water. The extra water will go over into the wetdry and overflow it into the drain. My concern with the waterfall is that while the water is UV treated it still will...

    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

I do. That is one reason for asking the question in the first place. With the Pacu most people can not even keep them with other fish because they eat all of them. I can keep them with fish that are 1/8" and he does not even think about eating any of them. I have not seen one other person...

    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

    a. Not a problem on my iguana setup. Remember this is a open "cage" not an inclosure. IF that were to be a problem it could be solved with a fan, but I don't see that as a problem at all though. c. It defintly still be cleaned, but I think it will require less mantinance and be cleaner than...

    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

Whoa! I never said I didn't want my cham to be safe. You don't have to act like that. You have been downing me in every post. If I only cared about asthetics, I would have never asked a question in the first place. I have gottem some good info so far. No one said a set up could not be astheticly...

    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

defintly. It will be set up like my iguana as far as that goes. 50 gallons get autochanged every day and waste is removed thru a valve that back washes the filter into a waste drain. It has a much higher bioload than this tank will ever have and water perimeters stay perfect.

    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

Okay, I will not let her eat fish. If I see this as a problem it can be solved by: a.safe/non toxic floating plants. b.other floating objects to cover the surface of the water.

    Can veiled chameleons eat fish?

I'm not talking about forcing her to eat fish. I will not take away the normal diet from her. I was just curious about the fish thing. I don't care whether she eats them or not. If she wants to that will be up to her. BTW the big fish is mostly a vegitarian. It eats seed, fruit, plants. It...
