    Knee sore

Hello! I have a 3 year old male panther chameleon who recently developed a scab or some type of infection on his knee that is not healing after 3 months. He has not had any health problems in the past. He developed it shortly before we moved and right after a shed. Picture is below Enclosure...

DIY question about a planter box under an enclosure

Thank you! I meant to ask, did you staple on the pond liner? I have never used it, and my concern is that I didn’t sand down the foam well before I sealed it with flex spray, which may make it hard to create an effective seal with the liner. I filled the box 1/4 with water and didn’t see...

DIY question about a planter box under an enclosure

I’ve looked at a bunch of different plants. If you’re looking for safe, you can always do umbrella, ficus, money trees for centerpieces and pothos as a vine are always safe. I’ve got a red anthurium which is pretty and a hibiscus which is growing but yet to bloom. I also found a prayer plant and...

DIY question about a planter box under an enclosure

I waterproofed it with liquid flex seal and loctite foam. Mostly I just need to figure out how to secure it, but I appreciate you checking. Can I ask how you installed the lip around your boxes? The box has already been built. I thought about just putting some pieces of wood up on each side, or...

My plan is to foam the gaps and put in some pond liner and use it as the base of the enclosure and do a bioactive setup. My question is how...

For any of those that come across this thread, I emailed Josh’s Frogs with the above pictures to get their input and they confirmed that they are pot worms.

Looking for a good light for plants

I splurged on the Reptisun LED/UVB combo because I liked the look, but I agree that it would be half the price to just replace a bulb in the light Mike linked. I have also been spotlighting my hibiscus with a Sansi grow light. It’s been a couple months, and though it’s not flowering, it is...

Tiny milky worms in isopod colony

Thanks for the reply and input! Oddly, pot worms never came up in my searches, yet it looks and sounds exactly like them. It appears they are fine to inject into the vivarium and may even be beneficial. Also, I will never be able to unsee that video of the fungus gnats, thank you .

Tiny milky worms in isopod colony

I took a picture of the bottom of the isopod container that is a little more clear. For reference, at the top of the picture is a blurry white adult dwarf isopod.

Tiny milky worms in isopod colony

Hello! I’m starting a vivarium and ordered some Dwarf Tropical Isopods from Josh’s Frogs along with some CUC cuisine. I put a tablet in a day after they got here and left them for a few days in their container. While sifting through it today, I found a bunch of these little white worms. It...
