If minerals are building up, your water may be too hard for the system. I 2nd the earlier post on trying either a distilled or reverse osmosis water with less minerals to build up. It seems to be more of a problem of improper water use than improper cleaning.
I used to use a 50w bulb during the summer, which seemed to be fine with the ambient temperature in the house. When the temperature started dropping up here for winter, I needed to up to a 75w to maintain normal temperatures. Get a decent temperature gun and try a 75 watt if you are not...
Had a problem getting them early this week. Lindasgonebuggie is where I get most of my worm feeders, and she usually has a pretty steady supply and reasonable shipping/packages.
That enclosure is a little small for him. The general rule is to use a 24"x24"x48" enclosure for an adult. I have never used a glass enclosure, so I can't speak for their disadvantages, but I use a screen enclosure that mine seems to love. You may run into humidity/temp problems due to the...
Like everyone else is saying, mine can only climb the bowl if it is wet. If there is any sort of texture to the bowl you use, maybe that is how they are getting out. They can climb with only a little bit of water. When I mist, even if I don't think any got into the bowl, I still find them...

I am actually having the same problem with mine. I will crack it open in the morning, and it will sometimes only drip for 20 minutes or so, so I have to watch it. Yesterday, I was able to get it dripping at a good constant rate for hours, but I wasn't able to duplicate again today. It seems...
Yes! Both say they are not available when you go to check out. At least last night they did. I talked to Linda at lindasgonebuggy and she said she is not expecting to have any now until the end of the month. Good thing I still have some, they are just a little small for Bossk is all.
EDIT...
Everywhere I go online today says they are all out of reptiworms due to problems with their distributor. I'm a newer owner, and have plenty of feeders on hand, but I was just wondering if this happens frequently. If so, how long does it usually take for them to go back into supply? I can't...
