New to Reptiles - Considering a Chameleon

I'll look into Kammerflage I understand from fishkeeping that it's not always the prettiest site that has the best products, so I'll try to keep an open mind about each one I come across. Although in my experience it's actually been the less appealing sites (as far as looks) that have the...

I like this one. It has a good mix of red, blue, and yellow. http://flchams.com/chameleon/ambilobe-panther-chameleons-for-sale-grier-bloodline/

New to Reptiles - Considering a Chameleon

I was looking at fl chams, as they had the best selection I've seen so far, and good prices too. I was looking at a nosy be or ambilobe, mainly for the bright coloration. I'm leaning towards a ambilobe over a nosy be, as they have a larger variety of colors.

New to Reptiles - Considering a Chameleon

Long story short, I have a stocking issue with my tank, and after I brought it up with my father, he said it was okay for me to buy another tank at first. Now he changed his mind, so I have extra money to put towards the chameleon itself. With more money I'll likely get a panther chameleon over...

    We're all 'shed-ing' these days...

In my experience with aquarium plants, 6500k works best, although anything between 6000k-7000k should work.

Live food. I've listed what I'm going to use to keep the cham and others have approved, so I think I'm good on that.

    They need at least a 180. I could keep them in my 210, but I don't need one. A 12" fish in a 24 x 14 tank won't work well.

What supplies do I need to keep those?

What materials should I get? I'd like to be able to order everything off amazon at once, which is why I keep pestering you about it (I'm sorry).

New to Reptiles - Considering a Chameleon

That's probably one of the things that led me towards it. In my experience in keeping aquariums, the more money you spend, the better life your fish live, and the easier the maintenance is. When I saw that a 40 gallon bearded dragon kit was only $250 I knew something would eventually go wrong.

I'll just breed whatever is easiest.

@jamest0o0 @Andee @Kristen Wilkins @Monta Thoughts? @Monta I won't get a cham for another few months (if at all, still have to see how the parents think of it), so pics won't be for a while.
