The main build up was from the dripper. I just decided to make a water dish out of corrugated plastic. I put it underneath the dripper with some walls to contain the drip plants. Then attatched a hose going from the bottom of the dish to a bucket outside the cage. It seems to work well so far...

So I recently bought a wire mesh cage for my chameleon, but the cage also has a glass bottom. I'm not sure how I can create a drainage without drilling the glass. Anyone got any ideas? Or a way so there isn't any water build up at least?
