Thanks all. I'll keep an eye on him.

Great. Thanks everyone. He seems to be in his 'bed' position a lot today, although did bask for a while and eat a locust. Hoping it's just pre-shed behaviour. Does that make them a bit subdued?

    Eyes close before lights out

Hi everyone. I have a 1 year old Panther Chameleon who is very happy/angry and healthy (been through the questionnaire on a previous post and all good). Sometimes he goes to his sleeping place early around 4pm (lights out at 7:30pm) and just waits there till lights are out and then he sleeps...

    Gutloading questions

This was good to read. I was wondering this about Arcadia Insect Fuel too. I keep it dry but wondered if it should be changed. Think I need to put a lot less in, even though its only about a teaspoon. I use Spring/Fresh Greens and sweet potato at the moment. I'm in the UK and some of the other...

    Vacation with the cham

We also bought a Netvue camera and mounted it to the wall so we could tune in from our phones every now and then to check lights were on and mister tank still had enough water (left it in view of the camera). Worked a treat for our time away (Sat lunch - Tues am). Our Panther is 10 months.

I've just got the pics through of Murray's parents. Murray is our 9 month old Panther Chameleon - can't believe the colour difference. Murray's the green one btw. I guess he's got a lot of colour changes ahead of him?!

    In happier news....

There are a few. The Chameleons UK Facebook Group is a good place to start, there's a few breeders on there.

    Glass vs. Mesh Cages

We've got our 8 month old panther in a glass bioactive viv and we love it. We're in the UK so it can be hard to use mesh for temp and humidity. This podcast helped a lot with our decision too. Might be of use...

    Cage size for juvenile Panther

This might help from Bill Strand's Chameleon Breeder Podcast, he has a lot of experience in this area. "Now here is where I am going to go out on a limb. When people purchase a baby chameleon – often at the three month mark – the advice is usually given that they should be grown up in a...

Order of the morning routine? need advice?

We have an 8 month old Ambilobe Nosy Valiha. First time chameleon owners, but loving it. We've played around with our misting and lighting times a lot to fine tune it. Still working on it. We've got a bioactive set up so have to be careful about not drowning the viv too. We also have a sheet we...
