We got him to the vet and they were able to clean the rest out. He's now on antibiotics, has his appetite back, and is looking much better than before. :)
Ok. Misted him after it was removed, I'll continue to spray it frequently. I don't have organic honey unfortunately. Just curious, at this point what would a vet do to help? Are there any medicines or ointments they would provide?
I was able to soften and remove one plug completely with help. The other got broken up a little but we were still able to get most of it out. Bubba seemed ok during the operation and is now back in the cage. However, the area is still swollen and he lost a bit of blood. Definitely taking him to...
I feed my 23-month-old male veiled every two days. His feedings consist of 10ish crickets, 2 super worms, 1 butterworm, 2 mealworms, 2 BSFL/calciworms, and 1 waxworm. He's currently shedding. Lately I have also noticed that he hasn't been eating any worms. Not sure about crickets because they...

Bubba came back from the vet yesterday afternoon and is doing great. The vet cleaned his eye with a wet q tip and then prescribed antibiotic eye drops for him for 10-14 days. He's doing well with the eye drops since then and his eye is much more open and natural looking. They aren't sure why it...
My 1 year and 8 month old veiled has what appears to be some sort of eye infection. I noticed this a few weeks ago and assumed it was part of his shedding, but now I realize that it is definitely not natural. His right eye is clouded over with discharge, but his left eye is perfectly normal...
Yes, he does like to eat up by the basking lamp, and the crickets have free roam around his cage anyway. Probably would work if I could get it up higher, and water wouldn't get in it that way.
So I probably won't use this one. Does anyone have suggestions of names of the feeders they use or...
