Day 5.
He is eating this morning. the skin on his back doesn't seem as bad. His tail is about the same.
He is drinking just fine, he always approaches me like a baby bird when I spray down his leaves (so sometimes I give him water through a dropper which he seems to enjoy).
Had a bowel...
I was advised to keep his heat bulb off 2 days and see if there is any improvement incase it was caused from him getting too hot. Though I kept his cage at 78.
No sign of any change. Loki has not shed.
I posted a few pictures on another thread and it won't let me use the same ones but I've had Loki 1 month. The past few days his attitude has changed (very clingy) and he has been eating less.
His tail and back also look chalky white and the top of his head looks waxy.
Attached is a...
I am totally in love with my male jackson.
I was stuck between the two also.... But when I found mine his personality was so great I knew he was the one.
I wish I could be more help! Good luck with your big decision!
Out of curiosity does Loki look like he is shedding...?
I just want to make sure its that and not another Problem... Since if I need to take him into a vet I would prefer to do it ASAP...
Mine is quite a bit larger than my friends.
Here is a picture of Loki today. Even more pale white he is moving a bit slower. He ate 5 crickets this morning.
I put some trash bags around the outside of the cage to help keep humidity up for him I also bought a ficus plant for him, I don't...
I have a male jackson chameleon. I've owned him a month.
I was told that he may be 6 months old, a friend of mine has one that he knows without a doubt is 6 months old... And Loki is more than double his size.
I realize it may be near impossible to tell age from a photograph, but do you have...
Thanks so much. I honestly don't know how old he is. I posted a picture a month ago and someone thought he was 6 months but a friend of mine has one that he knows is 6 months and it's not even half his size. The people at petco were clueless about him when I purchased him.
He does look a bit...
I've had my jackson chameleon, Loki, for a little over a month now.
He has not shed yet in my possession but he started acting a little funny yesterday.
He was doing this thing where he would pop his eyes out and rub it in branches (and I researched and saw that was a sign of...
Thank you!
I know it probably seems silly to ask- but as being a new owner I just get concerned easily... And if anything goes wrong I want to take him in as soon as possible.
I just love my little guy and want the best for him.
I've had Loki 9 days now.
I'm normally at school at this time of day so I don't know his normal habits.
I noticed this afternoon he is under his basking bulb and kinda laying sideways?
Is this a typical thing or should I be concerned?
(Ignore the temp and humidity gage they're innacurate...
