Yes they are! They are one of the most talented singers of the aviary species. Inventing their own songs as well as mimicking others. But, they are native to SE Asia so with all the bird flu outbreaks these days (vast majority of cases is in domestic poultry raised in filthy conditions) they can't be imported to the USA any longer. Chabe was pretty friendly too...he'd wait by the aviary door every morning to drink his nectar mix from a cup in my hand.
