Looking for ideas for neonate food

Hello everyone. I have been feeding two kinds of FFs and crix to my newly hatched panther babies, and am looking to expand their feeder variety.

I have a colony of discoids, but even the smallest nymph of these is too large far a new baby.

I have seen a log others have kept of the choices they have offered, like mealworms and stick bugs. Is there somewhere I can puchase these small enough for our babies to eat? I have never seen mealworms for sale around here that would even be close enough for a baby to eat.

What about butterworms? Do they come small enough?

I have silkworms about ready to hatch as well. Will the newly hatched silkies be small enough?

just looking to get the best variety I can.

Thanks in advance,

Jeffrey

New hatched silkies are excellent. If you know anyone who raises super worms, very tiny newborns are great. I have tried newly hatched dubis but that didn't go over well. What kind of babies do you have and how old are they? That could help in pointing you to food sources.

i dont know that i would feed silks to babies, while a good food for them from what ive read on here some have problems after feedin sliks with the babies goin after there brothers an sisters tails.. thats not to say all will but i dont want to take the chance of them becomin tail nippers cause they think its a silkworm.

We have panther babies. They range in age from two months to one week!

There is a reptile show in Kansas City this Sunday so I hope to find some feeders there. I might look on craigslist for some super babies, I have seen a breeder on there I think

We live in Independence Mo and when we all helped make that map on here on where we live, nobody was even close, so I hope to find something at the show this weekend.

We also have PDFs and sometimes use bean weevils to feed them. Can I try those as well?
