Homemade Cricket Feeder?

Hey guys, I saw a video on YouTube by Nigel36 about how you can make a homemade cricket feeder out of a milk jug and some screen. I don't get why you have to put screen on it though? Here's The Link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_od47TlbXA

okay, thanks (I think I'm gonna go make one now)

They will still be ablet o leap out if they want but they usually just want to climb one something and feel secure, so they usually just stay on the screen.

I guess if you drink milk the container is potentially free. I wanted something more rounded so I bought one of the really cheap spray bottles from home depot.



the only thing I would do differently now is make the cup section on the bottom about an inch or so taller this way crickets are even more inclined to climb the screen instead of jump out.

zombiepixel is right a couple might get out, but they will climb upward instead.
