well, they are in the basement, and the blue cage is philips-the veiled, and the yellow is olmecs, the ambilobe. Olmec was raised by lance until four months of age in california, philip was raised here in ky since he was born, and its almost winter and my basements ambient temperature gets around 59-60 lowest during the cold of the year, so i put up some heat lamps really far away to raise the ambient up to about 80 at the top of his cage, so its not to cold, i will turn them off in the summer though, when the ambient is 77 down here. and they can enjoy their outside cage now :). (even though they must take turns in it :p). philip is happy under his basking light and has been used to the low ambient. olmecs still getting adjusted. :p. but-yea it just took me about 11 minutes to find olmec in that cage full of ficus and bendabranch and fake vines :p.

At night they need to be cool to sleep.....10 degrees cooler than in the daytime. It's ok to get down to 68 or so. Some people even allow them to get cooler.

i know, everythings on a timer jan, :) i have it under control, i got 2 different thermometers and hydrometers and a thermometer gun everything goes out at night and they are fine :). across the room during the day i also have an oscillating fan on a timer-super rainforest simulation(if only i had a mistking :(-that's on my christmas list-along with tekken 6 :p).

OK....I though you were keeping them 80 at night. Hope you get everything you wont for Christmas!

with veileds you can get them down pretty cool.... I have been taking my two down into the loooow 50s at night. They are doing just fine.

yep. thats why he doesnt get the huge bright lights :p. Can anyone tell me which mistking i should get for these 2 cages?
