its not 100% done, need a few more vines, the plants to grow faster, and reset the right drain cover to be flush with the left one

so what do u all think?
i like the new one better cuz i got the cricket breeding station under this cage, and its set higher than the old one. got room for 3-4 more plants and going to add another 30-40 feet of vines.
hadd over 100 feet of the plastic vines in the old one but they fell apart when taking them out to put in the new one. but the bendy vines are still perfact. cost a lot more but its worth it

the shelving is still in the old cage, just got to wait for the plants to get tall enough that i can take it out then get another guy to move into it. but it takes time for a plant to grow 6 feet tall. i would rather wait for them to grow then spend more on 1 tall plant that i did to make the cage and put all the other plants in

and incase anyone wanted to see the beardi cage

I love the size of your cages.
I tried to get some built, but became futile.
At some point I will build my own.
Have you had the old cage awhile?
I love wood, as long as I treated it, does it hold up well?

Wow, once your plants grow in, that will be an awesome tank, and <3 the beardie... have you tried finding iguana hammocks for him to stick up in the corners? Mine loves his!

i had 1 in her gold glass cage but not sure if she liked where it was cuz if she wasnt sleeping on it she was moving it around so it became a mat onthe sand. been thinking about putting it in the new one but it would be perm. or could just stick with the shelf along the back side so he has a raised area to sit on

I'd actually gone really cheap with getting a raised area.... I had an extra bendy vine, some dried/cured bamboo left over from a class, and some twine... so I made a platform for my guy, and used the bendy vine to hold it up, I eventually ended up spending like 50 cents on two suction cups to keep it attached to his wall, and used some old repti-carpet to give him a better grip on the platform... after the hammocks and basking spot, it's his favorite place XD

suction cups dont really work too well on wood. i got around 60 suction cups not in use. i have a 300 galon pond, 125g turtle tank (used to have a nurce shark in it), 80g, 40gbreader, 39gt, 20g x2, 10g x5, 5g.
then i got my chams first cage, was talked into it cuz i told the guy at the store i wanted something big enough to last my chams life span, its one of them exoterra glass ones with screen top. 18''t x 12''w x 12''d, had that for maybe 1 week.
then my chams 2nd screen cage, 2'w x 2'd x 3't, used it for 6 months, then moved him upto a 6't x 2' 5'' d x 3'w. he only used the top 4 feet so i made him the cage he is in now. 4' 7''t x 4' w x 2'4'' d, sitting on a 3' stand.

... i lost where i wanted to go with all this but she has a raised area for her basking spot with a cave under it for her to dig out and another spot for her to dig out under her food and water dishes.
