Remembering September 11, 2001

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_11_attacks
I remember waking early to the news that morning, while still in bed. (I used to have a TV back then. Perhaps, and who knows really, this may have been the one big event that lead to my decision to get rid of all the bad news in my house. Thus, the TVs were put out on the street). All I could do that morning was grab my pillow, and cry.

I thought it appropriate to take a moment today to remember and pray for those whose lives are forever changed by such an evil event.

God bless the family and friends we lost eight years ago.

If you're reading this, think about that day. Think about what you were doing when it happened. And if you'd like to share in a prayer for those left behind, thank you.

Hey Phil, that was a terrible event. I had just gone downstairs to get ready to go to work, turned the tv on to Sesame Street (KCET) for Alexander, my 2 year old son then, to find the news of the attack. I could not concentrate at work, I felt this horrible fear for my family that if something like this were to happen with us, I could not protect them. Last year we went to NY, and visited the museum at Ground Zero. I could not stop crying, feeling for the people that lost their lives...
