A Bad Day

I recently got some WC panther chameleons in. In this group I had a Deigo Saurez male who was 20 inches! He was very emaciated upon arrival and I have been trying my best to renourish him.

This male died today...A big blow. What makes something worse is when you are so dedicated to the animal. I thought that this guy was big, but average...But it wasnt so...He meant more. I took part in hand feeding and watering him EVERY day. Only now am I realizing what this animal menat to me.

Thought I would share his story with you. His name was Tier, and he will be missed:)

Although he was in bad shape, he clearly was a FIGHTER:

When he was living...I tagged him at near 21 inches...this picture doesnt show it though.

Thanks for looking,
Jake Bernstein

Our complete sympathies, Jake, on the passing of your beautiful little guy. My husband and I both know how deeply it hurts to lose one of these WC we work so hard for.

Poor guy :( well, you took good care of him while he was with you, that is the important thing. I'm sorry you had to lose him.
