There are now almost 60 babies and that leaves 9 left to hatch! Everyone is alive and kicking! I did add heat lamps to kick up their eating-and I am adding a 3rd bin under the Reptisun and reg. Flourescent tube fixture to keep just over 20 in each for now! I am going to need alot of bins!

So cool Juli...I can't wait!!! I love that shot of the guy looking right at the Camera...He looks like a Bubble eye goldfish! :D

Julirs - I know what kind of food bill I have had for my 22 rudis babies - which eat like little piglets - I can just imagine what your food bill is for 60- OMG!!! Maybe we need to take up a collection for you -The "poor Julirs is being eaten out of house and home fund"

Thanks Justin! I think I will need it! :) I can only imagine how much they will be eating in a few weeks, or even next week! I am actually stunned by the amount that the 7 pyglets can put down in a day!

Juli WOW! I'm so glad that they are all alive and doing well! Between those little fellers and the pyglets you really have your hands full!!

P.S. You do have a knack for those cute "both eyes looking at the camera" photos.:p

OK, here we are, the Veileds started hatching on Monday 07/07. There are now 68 eating, pooping creatures and one egg left! 3 hatched yesterday. I have them on 1/4" crickets and all are getting nice and fat. I cannot believe how many there are, and if that last egg hatches I will have 100% hatch rate.
Please let me know if you need one or two or 10! They have huge gorgeous parents and should be very turquoise. I can already see the differences in coloration in the older ones. I am thinking some are going to be more yellow.

OMG, they are adorable!!!
I am guessing your house is probably inundated with baby crickets and fruit flies.
Baby veileds are eating machines, aren't they?

100% hatch rate! The last one hatched today.

78 eggs
9 eggs infertile-molded within the first week
1 week short of 9 months incubation at room temp
All 69 hatched!
