Hi there!
Im new to the forum and have a quick question about basking temps before my baby panther arrives. I do have a Yemen chameleon which ive had for around 2 years now, I have a savannah monitor just under a year and have kept bearded dragons previously aswell, so im not new to keeping reptiles but this has just popped into my head as ive never really thought about it before.
The panther shall be in an exo terra glass viv and the ambient inside is at 85f at the moment without a basking light on. Now would I still need to provide an over head basking light on days where the room ambient is equal to the desired basking temperature or could he metabolize without an over head heat source?
Thanks in advance,
Andy
