Hi I'm new to this forum but I need a little help, my 10 month old chams tummy is looking a little bloated, I don't know too well if its a male or female but it does have tiny spurs on the back of his hands/paws. I'm worried I may be wrong and it is a female and has infertile eggs inside of it. Can anyone answer this? I can't post any pictures for some reason but ill try soon

Hello and welcome to the forums. A picture will definitely help us. If its a veiled ( assuming from ur avatar :p )and you see the spurs it's probably a male. When was the last poo? What are you feeding? Try to get a picture up as soon as you can so we can all chime in and hopefully help. :)

here should be a picture of how he looks scrambles.jpg i fed early this morning with 3 large crickets that have been dusted lightly, and his last bowel movement was around 20 minutes ago with a soft firm brown and white dropping. he mainly eats crickets and a couple mealworms throughout the day

Well I see tiny what looks like tarsel spurs ill post a pic soon, but I know he/she's not dehydrated because it goes and drinks from its water bowl and.it hast plenty of liquid urates when it deficates

drinks from its water bowl

You are not supposed to have a water bowl.

Everyone here will tell you that YES your chameleon is dehydrated. Buy a little dripper as a start, then find a way to make a drainage system, and have the little dripper going most of the day. Then your chameleon will not have to drink gross, standing water bowl water.

check this out--because you are obviously misinformed or have bad husbandry. It can be fixed
