I started a Discoid culture in Aug and it is doing very well. The adults are larger and harder than I expected. Should my adult male Jacksons still be able to eat them?
He loves the smaller ones and has no problem with the large Florida native roaches AKA Palmetto bugs but these seem softer...
I have been using the Mist King rain dome for almost a year now. It has been perfect. My Jacksons loves it. He know the times it goes off and will go sit under it and wait. I have no problem with water going everywhere except when the plant grow and deflect the drips. Definitely recommend it!
Just recieved my shipment of BBF larva and pupae EEEEW. The things we do for love:) Will my jacksons eat the larva? do I refrigerate all of them? I planned on starting out with a few pupae to hatch. How long can they be refrigerated? help!!!

Does anyone have any problems with reptile mites when keeping chams outdoors? I live in N Florida and have a gazillion Anoles around my home. When I have had snakes outside I had problems with mites. Could they come from the Anoles? Will my cham get them. He is a Jacksons so it is too hot...
If by chamber you mean a misting system you will want RO water. The other types will clog your mister heads. I tries Brita type filters and went through about 5 Mist King heads. I now buy RO at ther grocery store for .30/gal.
I keep
crickets
green banana roaches
spanish orange isopods
meal worms (for treats)
fruit flies ( for frogs)
I buy
Phoenix worms
silkworms
horn worms
wax worms also for treats.
butter worms occasionally for variety:)
I got my first silkworm coccoon. It is attached to the side of the plastic container and not in the tp roll:( Should I try to cut the attaching silk and remove it or leave it alone? I cant really clean the container where it is.
Boy they eat alot!
It took me almost a year but I finally figured it out:)
It helps to have someone else read the instructions to you while you do the steps.
Good Luck, and yes it only does 8 seperate events.
:)Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male Jacksons, unsure of age but he is about 3" S-V, 1 week

I have tons of Spanish Orange Isopods. can a baby Jacksons eat these?
What about red worms? I have heard Jacksons will eat snails and slugs.
I breed my own red worms for composting.
Just ordered my Mist King with the rain attachment.
Do I still need a humidifier? How often should it rain? I am in N central florida and it is already pretty humid. By the way it is for a jacksons.
