Hello everybody I'm so happy I found this forum, I always find forums to be very helpful. I recently purchased two female Jackson chameleons from a local reptile show. I think I know the basics and a bit more but I'm always looking for more info, and advice.
A few days after I got my girls karma and chamille, I noticed chamille has a very unusually shape to her belly. I told my husband "she looks like she swallowed a golf ball". I called the "breeder" that I got her from and explained to him what I noticed and he basically told me that she was sold by accident, apparently she shouldn't have even been brought to the show. He said his son and wife packed all the animals up and set up the table, he had to work so he showed up to the reptile show later. Well it turns out his son brought a gravid female of his. My husband bought this gravid female we have named chamille without knowing. So basically I'm new to chameleons and now I have one that will be having babies pretty soon (within the next month or so). The breeder refused to take her back because he said "her babies are worth nothing to me anymore". I'm totally lost in the sauce about what to do. I research every new animal I get until I feel that I have the knowledge to care for them appropriately, I never researched gravid females or baby chameleons any help will be greatly appreciated
