I finally got myself a Chameleon at the SC reptile show last week.

Got a sub-adult male Veiled from Chris at FLChams:

He had his first molt yesterday and has been searching around his enclosure for errant pieces of skin today.

I have him in a screen enclosure I made myself for screening practice earlier this summer, but because I didn't make a hinged front door on it it's a complete PITA. I'm going to buy a standard sized Chameleon cage this week.

I actually have been reading that site already.

I bought the book about panthers from the book store on this website about 6 months ago and read it cover to cover, but my girlfriend wanted me to get a Veiled. Since she will be caring for it when I'm out of town I got it.

Veileds have really grown on me though.

If this Chameleon thing is addictive as I see it with the people on this forum, I'm sure I'll end up getting another one later anyway
