I am no lighting specialist thats for sure, but I can tell you that 6500K is 6500K no matter what way you slice it. However, some may be higher or lower on said spectrum. Most will include a picture or diagram of a spectrum graph showing the peak in color temperature.
I have been in the aquarium industry for many many years, and to avoid the added cost of buying the aquarium branded light bulb we would normally use the ones from the big box stores as long as it were the correct color spectrum.

To my understanding, the bulbs are the same because you are looking at the "color" the light gives off. Which depends on the amt of kelvins.
It should be the same, HD will just be alot cheaper
