I was wondering what you do with fertilized eggs you don't want? See, I want to get pygmies, a male and a female or two, but I do not want babies... I feel bad just tossing the eggs since they are fertilized, is that stupid? How do you deal with this kind of situation? Are the eggs always...
Who do you prefer when shipping your cham? And how do you figure next day shipping costs without actually going into the store and getting the cham + shipping box weight?
Leonard will be 1 year in August. I got him from forum member Julirs when he was about 5 months. I've never had any problems with him. He has never been sick. I'm getting ready to graduate soon and I do not want to put added stress on him because of moving around. Pm me if you are...
So I've noticed this a few times and I was wondering if it's normal. I have a male veiled and at night when he is sleeping sometimes his eyes kind of pop way out of his head, like they "bulge" out of his head. They look like gumdrops, it's the weirdest thing, I never thought it was a problem...
Is there something you can "spice" the crickets up with to make them taste better for the cham?
...once again, my cham is not eating his crickets yet everything else, which seems to be everyone's problem every once in a while....
So I found the cutest little baby turtle today while I was walking my dogs, it is probably no bigger than a quarter... I think it is one of those red-eared sliders cause it has a tiny red stripe right behind it's eyes. It is so cute, I just had to take him inside a bit to take pictures, he is so...
Why is it that chams get sick of crickets? My cham is not interested in them and hasn't been for a long time now... He still eats kale on a regular basis and supers every couple of weeks, but he hardly ever eats his crickets, he use to eat 5-7 a day, then it went from every other day and slowly...
So I recently got a mistking and it is causing me a lot of draining problems. I have no drainage in my cage soo I pretty much have to mop up the water with paper towels all the time.
I am trying to come up with a design of a new cage and was wondering if people could post pictures of their...
So my mistking arrived today and it is sooo coool!! I love it, and leonard loves it... For anyone who doesn't have one you need to start saving and get one!!
:D
I can never keep mine alive... I keep them in a big plastic tub, there is no top on it, I keep tons of egg cartons in it for them and I have a dish that their food sits on, orange cubes, kale, lettuce, collard greens, etc. ya know, but once I buy them, almost half die after about 4 or 5 days...
Can anyone tell me if the zip drip is necessary? It adds about an extra $30 and I just want to know if it is really necessary? would you recommend this?
I was wondering if people could post pictures of their Mist king set up, like how they have the valves going into their cage, etc. I am planning on getting one and my cham cage sits very high on a table and I was wondering if the pump that comes with the starter mist king set is big enough to...

Do you think a captive bred cham could survive if he is put back into his natural habitat? Like say he was kept as a "pet" for a few years and then released back to where they are found in the wild, could the cham survive? Just a thought?
to leave my veiled cham at home for 3 days? I just recently took him home (2 weeks ago) with me since I was gone a week, but this time it will only be for 3 whole days he will be left alone. I don't want to take him bc of stress yet I have a portable cage and don't mind packing him up but I'd...
of this type of chameleon? This might be a stupid question but I've tried googling and can't seem to find what I am looking for. They look like a Jackson's chameleon and they have what looks like a fin that comes off their tale?
