    Ambilobe baby I am receiving a 2mo. old ambilobe baby on Wed. He eats 1/4 inch crickets. No problem there. He will be housed in a large reptibreeze. I have Nosy Bes, but I have never had one younger then 4mos. Do I put the UVB tube on top, as usual, and the basking light, on top as usual, or...

    rehydration I would definitely try and rehydrate him in a warm shower and take him to the vet. Don't give up!!

    temp I think I would lower your basking temp a little. Maybe to 86-87. 100+ sounds too high to me.

    I read somewhere , from someone who sells Dubias that you are supposed to let the frasse build up to 1 inch. Is this true? I usually clean my colonies every 2 wks. or sooner.:eek:

    Basking A basking temp of 95 is way too hot. Should be more like 86 degrees. Hope he is better soon.

    A Difficult Decision.

    light bulb The 100w bulb may be too hot for hin, which is why he stays near the bottom. Try a 75w. If he is too hot, he won't be getting the UVB light, either.
