I just got my MistKing all set up! Yay! My question is how often and for how long I should mist my chams? Right now I have it misting ever two hours for 30 seconds from 10:30 to 7:30. Suggestions?

I have good news and bad news. The pump priming worked. The bad news is that the water went by the first nozzle and exploded the hose out of the second novel. Eeeeek.

As in the hose connected to the first nozzle?

PS. How long should it take to start misting after I turn it on? It's been going for a good 5 minutes now with it on the floor and everything seems bone dry.

I will acquire some photos, but in the mean time, yes, it's a starter kit and I'm pretty sure it's working. Let me try the down-on-the-floor method to see if it works.

Yeah, the pump is definitely on. It's making its little noise and vibrator softly.

Haha. No. I can't free range him out there 24/7 because my roommates are a little squeamish around him if I'm not there, but he likes it so much better than his cage! And no, I don't leave him alone outside at all. haha. That could lead to disaster!

I'm 21 with about 4/5 months of cham experience but I've had reptiles for over ten years. I even bred my corn snakes when I was 16! ^_^

Oh. My. God. I need to start a breeding pair of my own because they are ADORABLE! Plus, it'd be nice to get more CB out there so we don't have to have so many WC.

Do you think getting both is a good idea? I was thinking getting both and using the smaller one if I ever breed.

I also got an offer to get a 12x12x12 exo terra WITH hood and bunch of accessories for 25 bucks...that seems like a good deal as well.

My first cham was a wc Graceful. haha. She's doing fine, but I still think it's risky to go with WC. They most likely have parasites and for that cheap it's not going to be a healthy cham.
