Pascal is really happy.. (i think... he/she was sleeping on a leaf) :D

I'll update tomorrow about how he/she is doing

Here some pics of my creation (newbie cham owner and newbie making this cages... i am tired! but I'm happy.

Is 17" x 36"... for now is ok... my uncle is going to make me another when he/ she bigger with wood and better things!

Hope you guys like it... if you want to tell me something that i may doing wrong please tell! I'm still learning!
 
Cool idea, I've read around that the cylinder-shaped screen cages are pretty simple to put together. I worried about creating a door. Do you just have a removable top or something similar for a door?

Also did you use hardware cloth?

And did you need help sexing the cham? What with the "he/she" mention.
 
Add One or two more plants because it seems a little bare but don't over do cause he is still tiny but other than that, pascal looks happy(post a pic in the area of his hind legs while you raise his tail if you want help sexing him)
 
I used a "chicken wire" 36"x 5' from Home Depot, then I put around "plastic screen" so he dont get trhough the big holes. Yes I build a door and also put around plastic screen on it.

Yes i still dont know if is he or she.. hes too tiny i think is he well i called him Pascal like rapunzel's cham from Tangled (my 3 years old nephew called him that name so I stick with it)

I'll do it tomorrow when he's awake but do you think is ok to raise him/her by the tail? i dont want him to stress but he seems really good when i put him on my finger and go outside with him to take some sun :D he always have that light green and close it eyes and just chill on my finger... but when we are having the tan he change to a darker green with two black lines at his sides
 
I agree with adding some more plants or vines, if you live anywhere near homedepot (not sure if you do) they have some really nice hibiscus that you can repot with organic soil and he/she can munch on (thinking he's a veiled cause that's what he looks like to me). Also you can add bendable vines that you can find at petco and petsmart so he can get closer to the basking light. ^^ I really like the cage 8D all I think is that he needs a bit more foliage to make himself feel more secure ^^

Thanks, yes I'm working on that but it have to wait till next week so i have some $$$ lol i'll put some vines and a hibiscus or a ficus maybe. Yes! he/she is a veiled :) so cute with his little veil lol. I think I'm in love.
 
Yes I agree cash is very important when it comes to buying things XD and don't we all fall in love so quickly with them ^^

Yes! I'm in love with my little greeny! He/her is so cute I'm trying to get a picture of his/her feets but I'll put some when I get home.

I don't think he's saying to lift him up BY his tail (don't do that) just to hold him on your hand like normal and move his tail so we can see where the sun don't shine:p
 
Yeah I meant what Jupiter said because if you lift up the tail we could see if their is a bulge or not.
