UVB and growth question

This may seem like a dumb question, but does the quality of the UVB bulb affect the growth rate of chameleons? I ask because I have 3 panther chameleons, 2 of them are under 24" T5 Reptisun 10.0. The other has been under an 18" T8 10.0. She is by far the smallest, at about 8 months she only weighs 33g. That being said, she was also sick when I got her and went through more than a month of antibiotic injections after which she started to grow fairly fast.

So back to the original question, does the quality of the UVB affect growth? If I upgrade her to a T5 10.0 or better yet an Arcadia bulb, will I see better growth from her?

Too little UVB can harm your Chameleon and he could end up with MBD. I would say, yes, the UV does help with the growth, but I'm not so sure that you'd see significant difference if you got a higher quality bulb, if it gives out the same amount of UVB...
