subcutaneous worm removal

Some time ago a poster showed a series of pictures of them removing SC worms from a WC chameleon. I can't find the post in the search section. Could someone help me finding that poster? I need to ask them about a DIY removal.

Wanted to add it is not for my chameleon, but a couple of WC snakes (B. d. melanota). Why not have a vet do it? My vet told me due to liability issues he could not do it at his office.

I dont understand why a vet would refuse to do that. Any surgical work on any animal involves a degree of risk.
Find a better vet imo. Too much risk of accident trying DIY yourself without experience.

The snakes are rear-fanged and venomous, he does not want venomous reptiles in his office because of liability to his staff and customers.

He is a good vet, he works on the Gila's here at one of our wildlife sanctuaries. I understood when he told me no. . .I do not like any of the other exotic vets we have here.
