So, on the quad, does each bulb have its own power cord? I'm so confused. Lol.Ha, not that crazy . I have 3 timers for the quad fixture, one for the UVB and one 6500k, one for the other 6500k and plant pro, and one for the moonlight. I have two dome basking lights each on a timer. Add the MistKing timer and that makes 6 total in two power strips. Hope this helps .
not sure which one you guys have with multi cords.
I have a new quad. 4 blubs. 1 cord. I have that plugged into a power strip that's attached to a timer that's set for 12 hours on and 12 hours off. I'm not sure how the internal timers work. They sent an Odessa AC adapter with the light but I don't know what to do with that either. So, on the quad, does each bulb have its own power cord? I'm so confused. Lol.

I can see how that would be irritating for sure. The newer style quad fixtures have only one cord and a built in timer for all of the lights. The older styles that we all bought before the new supplier came into play have three cords (one for one set of linears, one for the other set of linears, and one for the moonlights) for the quad fixture and no built in timers. We have to use other timers, purchases separately. We all got screwed. I was a lil upset, not gonna lie, when I saw the newer versions were so much simpler and even had a timer built into the unit. For my quad fixture I bought back in March, I went out and had to buy three $12 timers (one for each of the 3 cords) as well as a $25 power surge that was big enough to be able to hold all of the timers on it. So that's $60 in timers and a surge protector when I wouldn't need any of that with the newer models because there's no external timers and since there is only one cord, I could fit that easily into the existing power surge outlets I already owned.
Yep. We got screwed. Still, my older one is a great fixture, but I never even heard an announcement about the newer ones or anything until they came out or else I would have totally used my crappy lights for another few months and waited for the newer models. It is what it is though I guess...
