Hi,
New here
I have one male veiled chameleon. We have had him in the home since June 2015 after bringing him home from my sons school - where he wasnt doing so well.
They had him from oct - june. He started hissing at everyone and being very stressed out - so now he lives in our living room. Since adding alot more vines and leaves - he has mellowed out.
I also have a Ball Python, a rabbit, 2 cats, 1 dog, 5 bantum chickens and three sons.
My sons are in 4H and they have asked me to run a reptile project for them - being the only mom not freaked out by reptiles. I have declined to date until I feel like I know enough to run a year long project for kids.
Project would include care and feeding of them, how to pick one, keep cage clean etc. not indepth stuff, but before kids commit to a pet, I feel like I should know more about them.
