My first veiled Chameleon! He is a translucent <3

He is about 3-4 months and i got him from snakes at sunset (in store). I noticed he on the middle of his back he is missing about half an inch of the little spikes on his body (check the photos).
I also am getting a monstera adansonii thats huge and will put that in today and wrap it around more sticks and vines. His name is Yukinoki!

Yes, I noticed the missing spikes right off the bat without reading your post. This is caused by a thermal burn. So you are going to need to watch that area when he sheds and also ensure his basking temps are correct 80-85. They can re burn much easier in areas of a prior thermal burn.

He is very handsome and his colors should develop beautifully over the coming months.

With his cage you will want to add horizontal branches. And you want to double check your distances from lighting to branch based on what fixtures and bulb strengths you are using.
