Rearranged Gratchs setup today, and thought I would take a few pictures.

All my supplies are kept together in a small wicker stand. 48"H x 24"W x 24"D screen cage. Tray below cage catches water in a small tray. MistKing reservoir water is heated to high 70's-85 degrees in a 5 gallon bucket that I clean every other day. Small household bulb for heat, 5.0 for UVB, large gas station cup with hole punched in the side and small adjustable valve attached to fish tank tubing hot glued to the side of the cup for dripper....

Lots of fake leaves, and live plants to block his view a bit- make him feel a bit more secure- in upper portion of cage.

Drainage, pothos, schefflera.

Basking spot. Schefflera in back corner along with the pothos catch all the mist from the mist king, and make for a tasty treat.

Free range. I have very tall vaulted ceilings.... The branch is 9' from left to right. The fake tree is about 8' tall from base to top.

hey nice setup and cham. What have you done with the bottom of the cage? looks like you have something interesting going on for drainage there maybe?

nice! that all i have to say. oh and what do you use to heat the water? gonna build my drainage today so hopefully the mistking will be coming soon.

I originally had a large square plastic pot in the very bottom of the cage full of dirt with my plants in it.... Absolutely awful idea.

Now I have a Plexiglas sheet cut to the inner dimensions of the cage. I was going to drill small holes in the center, but accidentally cracked the plastic. If I were to do it a second time I would take a torch and lightly melt the plastic in the middle so it sagged, and funneled slightly downward to a single hole.

My entire setup sits on a large plastic washing machine tray that I got at Lowes to catch debris and water that doesn't make it into my smaller planter plastic tray below my drainage hole.

I use a 100watt submersible fish tank heater stuck to the bottom of my bucket with a suction cup. Heater has a number of safety features and never heats the water beyond low 80's, even when the water is very low.

Nice! Ours is 4 months and his colors are starting to come out more...can't wait for him to show all his colors. Like the plants on the screen door idea...might just have to copy that :D

Tyler, Gratch is looking GREAT! You are doing a good job with him. I love his free areas and I'll bet he does too. :)
