Dirty Chameleon Head

Hello, I have a 10 month old female veiled chameleon. She laid eggs 2 months ago and everything went fine. Her lay pot had been removed from her cage. She does have a live plant in her cage and I keep finding her with a dirty head. Any ideas??? From her body shape she doesn't appear ready to lay again.

Hi there. I’m fairly new the the Cham thing but I’ve read that you should put rocks/stones (smooth) on the top of the soil of any live plants so your Cham can’t eat the dirt. Also, her egg laying bin should be in her cage all the time and it, and the sand, should be kept clean.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

I would leave the lay bin in the enclosure at all times. She’s digging around cause she wants to lay again.
