I have a female Ambilobe that makes a chirping/croaking sound, similar to some small tree frogs. Has anyone else heard their chameleon vocalize (besides hissing)?
She usually arches her head back (lke a wolf howling) and lets out one or two croaks. She does this at least once or twice a day, the Chameleon room doubles as my computer room, so I am in there about 2 hours a day plus feeding and cleaning times.
I never hear from the other 6 panthers that I have. Maybe one day I will be able to catch her on video, but she usually does it when my back is turned.
