They are sooo cute! I joined the K club when it first was created just because I think they are the cutest little things ever!! lol And vow to one day be the proud owner :D Nice pic up Rob! Chad did a great job with them, they are beautiful. Nice photographs as usual :)

WOW! he is absolutely gorgeous!!! That 1st pic should def win a photo contest, and the 4th pic is just ya. Crazy. Colors and horns!

He's a beautiful animal! I raised his brother & looked just like him up until 2 weeks ago when he escaped from an outdoor enclosure. I'm still kicking myself over it. You have my vote also for the contest.

How does an animal escape from its enclosure in the first place? Poor guy! he will certainly be dead with fall/winter temps in NY.

Only a showoff who thinks he has never made a mistake as a chameleon keeper would reply to my situation with such sarcasm. I know he won't survive the weather & did not let him out intentionally.By the way, did you kill your brad.transvaal. with a fungus infection that you knew they were prone to by keeping in a humid glass enclosure? Or maybe you just made a mistake. Poor guy! Didn't have to die.

Okay fellas.... Both of your situations are very unfortunate, and I truly hate to see either happen... But im tired of seeing good threads get ruined here.

So please, sit back and enjoy Robs stunning kinyongia matschiei :)

Thank you all SO much for all the nice comments I really do appreciate them!! Anyone on the fence about these guys really should get them while you can because Chad has them and this is a super rare opportunity to keep this species. All the real accolades belong to Chad (CNorton) for his great work with this species. He has been able to do something nobody else in the US has been able to do.

This species is so rare I don't think you will find any real "care sheets" for them, but Chad can fill you in with any care information you might need. This species is just slightly smaller than panthers are about the size of the smaller locales of panthers...not Sambava size for sure.

So as to get this thread back on track if no one objects too much I am going to post a few more photos :D:D

Looking good! Lots of green. Your male is all grown up already.

Thanks Tylene!! He sure does look like it doesn't he:D I think he is in the upper 60g range so probably another 40g to go I would guess. With how vivid and green he is in these pictures from Saturday, I couldn't believe my eyes when I came down this morning and he was in full shed:eek:
