Had to share these two pictures :)

Ok, so due to Bach's two surgery's lately he is now on a minimal dose of Baytril daily to make sure no infection starts. However due to all the handling that has had to be done over the last few weeks he doesn't seem fazed by anything. I had to shoot some pics the other night when I was trying...

    ZZZZ pics.

A cham sleeping may be the most peaceful sight ever. Everytime I look at Bach sleeping I just have to smile

Am I just unlucky? Or could there be a reason..

Well Bach's surgery went well today, he seems a bit out of it but I wouldn't expect much else after two surgeries in a week. The vet has him on Baytril for 7-10 days just to be safe no infections are present or start. Funny thing is that Bach has gotten so used to being handled everyday through...

Am I just unlucky? Or could there be a reason..

It is a good thought that swelling from first surgery is partly to blame, I know when I was trying to help him pull it back in last night, gently and will ky jelly of course I didn't have much wiggle room due to his wound and stitches on other side. I of course was super gentle because I know...

Am I just unlucky? Or could there be a reason..

Ok so as my last post had been about my 4.5 month old panther cham Bach, had a hemipenis prolapse and underwent surgery to remove that hemipenis on Saturday. All was well he seems to be doing great. So then yesterday I'm doing my daily visual inspection of Bach and noticed his other hemipenis...

Please identify what is sticking out of cham's vent area

Well Bach had his surgery today and he seems very happy to be all fixed up. Dr Alfonso was great again. He was in surgery maybe 20 minutes and ended up needing two stitches. I am so very relieved and hopefully that is the only surgery he will ever have to endure. Dr Alfonso was otherwise very...

Please identify what is sticking out of cham's vent area

Oh I will, I can't stop just checking on him making sure all is ok, just worried that since it is a saturday that they won't be ready for a surgery. He is drinking and eating fine otherwise so not sure how big of an emergency it is but I can't handle another day going by thinking my baby isn't...

Please identify what is sticking out of cham's vent area

Ok, so went to the vets on Wednesday and we got his hemipenis back in and dr alfonso said as long as I can get his hemipenis back in when it comes out then everything should be fine, he did have a prolapse. So later in the day when I got home on Wednesday his hemipenis was back out, managed to...

Please identify what is sticking out of cham's vent area

He is pooping regularly, usually once a day or so. So I don't think that is part of the problem.

Please identify what is sticking out of cham's vent area

So for a day his vent area was back to normal but when I got home the next day it was out again. During that day he had both sides out like he was trying to squeeze something out and rub it on the vines. He got a little bit of white stuff out but now that one side is hanging out slightly again...

Please identify what is sticking out of cham's vent area

Lol good idea, he is definately "large down there". Figuring his size and color are advanced for his age it may have just been hormones in overdrive. I am do relieved it is better today!

Please identify what is sticking out of cham's vent area

Well good news is today Bach has pulled back in whatever it was sticking out of vent. Will continue to keep an extra close eye on the area.

Please identify what is sticking out of cham's vent area

Most of the time it is sticking out a little, but on occasion it does seem like it is in. One day he had one little bump on each side sticking out. Kinda confusing, but for the most part that one side has the bump sticking out a little. He doesn't seem bothered and it is not getting any worse...

Please identify what is sticking out of cham's vent area

So for the last week I had noticed a little "bump" poking out of my 4 month old male panther cham's vent area. I'm guessing he is too young for a sperm plug? Also, it is reddish in color. Please let me know what you veteran's think it is and if I need to schedule a vet appointment or not. He...

3.5 month old update pictures of Bach :)

Thanks Jeremy, you sure know how to breed a beautiful cham, he is definately going to be a show stopper as an adult! Guess it is time to start the planning of the big cage :) I think he will enjoy the extra room, he makes his current cage seem small with his size

3.5 month old update pictures of Bach :)

Do u guys think with him being big for his age he is ok to be moved to his 24x24x48 cage? He is in a 16x16x30 now. Been thinking about getting his big cage ready but don't want to move him too young. -Jess
