HAHAHA this cracked me up!! Hey what can I say she was calling my name and wanted me to love her up!! She didn't even mind that I needed to redo my nails :D
I found gently shaking the cup to make the Dubia move around like crazy helps get our chams attention! Or with some of them I will show them whats in the cup and then put it in their cage and walk away so they don't feel nervous in anyway from me standing and holding it.. Then once they get use...
HAHA this makes so much sense and just made me realize why we always have some many crickets on our tile floors.. WE HAVE RADIANT HEAT! AHH silly us! :D Great post!
Lauren,
Thank you so much for the kind words!! It means the world to us! This gives us the conformation that we made the right choice to start our own business. We hope to keep making everyone happy for years to come! Thank you again, you have made our day here at Canvas Chams!
Did you ever try silk worms or horned worms? We give them to ours as a treat every once in awhile, but maybe it would get him eating different things. We also just ordered some banana roaches for our picky eater. So we will see how it goes. Good luck! Don't give up!
How do you have her lighting attached to the cage? Could you post pictures of her cage? If your light is sitting directly on top of the cage that might be why she got burned. We have all of ours clamped above the cage and not touching the screen.
Hey just thought of this too! We have bean beetles too! They are much smaller than the baby dubia! We were feeding our one baby panther cham them.. She loves them too!!
I get so excited when they shed! You never know what they are going to look like after:D It's like Christmas! haha Make sure to post pics after. I always mist our guys with luke warm water to help with the shed.
